Missions

At Third Church, we believe that Jesus Christ is at work renewing all things, and that we are called together to join him in that work. We are deeply committed as a church to supporting God’s work through the church both here in Richmond and around the world, committing 25% of our annual income to local and global missions. Yet our hope is that our commitment would not just be financial, but transformative.

We hope to be a church that sees where God is at work—in our church, in our parishes, across dividing lines, and around the world—and will have the courage, imagination, and resources to join in God’s work of renewal by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that engaging in God’s work in all places is both an essential means and end of our discipleship as his followers. Join us!
