Christian Counseling & Training Center

The Christian Counseling and Training Center has been in the Richmond area for more than thirty-six years. They offer a wide range of services in counseling and training areas. Counseling services are biblically based in order to apply God’s word to the problems of everyday life. The counseling model is designed to give individuals hope and encouragement to seek a deeper walk with the Lord. Training services are geared to present training and education in light of the Bible.

Seventy percent of CCTC counseling focuses on marriages and the problems that arise when couples are confronted by life and relationships, including depression and anger issues. Training courses include an excellent discipleship training program and biblical counselor training that could lead to a biblical counseling certificate.

CCTC has recently started two different Bible studies. One study has its focus on discipleship for men and the other on post-abortion issues. 

Plans for the future include partnering with Pregnancy Resource Center of metro Richmond; continuing the new pastors' class for pastors wanting to upgrade their counseling skills; and having all CCTC materials translated into Spanish.

CCTC is excited about how the Lord is using the organization, both in the training courses as well as in counseling, as instruments in his hands. For over three decades he has allowed them to be an instrument to bring healing to a broken and hurting city.
