Arrabon

Cultivating reconciling communities

Arrabon offers support and guides Christian leaders and communities as they pursue reconciliation in a diverse and divided world. Their goal is to see Christian communities  transformed into places of healing and restoration that point to the Kingdom of God to come. Arrabon’s holistic approach to community restoration is rooted in Scripture to cultivate spiritual, emotional, and cross-cultural maturity.

Arrabon is led by David Bailey and  is supported by a full team of passionate individuals, united in one vision to cultivate reconciling communities.

Third at work: With the financial and prayer support from Third Church, Arrabon continues in a trajectory of growth—such as, bringing in additional team members. Arrabon has also launched a robust new website, as well as a study series, A People, A Place, and a Just Society. This 40-day study, guides individuals and small groups through Scripture together to better understand God’s heart for justice and reconciliation.

God at work: First Baptist Church of Ashland engaged Arrabon to help it explore a new sense of mission in the face of demographic changes in its congregation and surrounding community. Arrabon worked with its leadership and congregation to help change the church’s culture from the inside out for more effective community ministry. Subsequently, First Baptist Church of Ashland has had a clear sense of mission to serve and love its neighbors. It actively partners with a neighboring historically Black congregation in joint ministry endeavors throughout the year, and the impact has been significant.

Act now through prayer

Pray that God would guide the Arrabon team as they support and engage with communities throughout the area. May their impact be significant.
