Join us for our growing and thriving tutoring program! 

For this program, tutors are matched with a student, and each Wednesday evening, they meet together and tutors help their students with their homework. We continually find ourselves with more students than tutors, so your help is very much needed! No experience necessary! 

WHO DOES THIS PROGRAM SERVE?

This Arabic Tutoring program is in its 12th year and we have 50-60 students coming each week, mostly from the Arabic Christian Church. We have all age ranges of children from Kindergarten through High School students.

WHEN DO WE MEET?

Wednesday evenings, from 6:45 - 7:45 at Third Church.

Our tutoring season runs for 10 weeks in the Fall (September 21 - November 16), and again for 10 weeks in the Spring. 

READY TO HELP?

There are several ways to be involved:

1. If you would like to form a deeper relationship and be familiar with your student’s abilities, you could be a weekly tutor.  If you are a weekly tutor, you would be assigned a dedicated back-up person to get in touch with on weeks you are not able to be there.  
2. If your time wouldn’t allow for a weekly commitment, you could sign up to be somebody’s dedicated back-up and fill-in when needed with the same child each time.
3. You can help with transportation to or from the church.  Dependable transportation is a big issue.
