For this program, tutors are matched with a student, and each Wednesday evening, they meet together and tutors help their students with their homework. We continually find ourselves with more students than tutors, so your help is very much needed! No experience necessary!
WHO DOES THIS PROGRAM SERVE?
This tutoring program is in its 13th year and we have 90 students coming each week all from many different backgrounds and nationalities. Some are involved with the Christian Arabic Church, but some are just local immigrants and refugees, maybe new to the area!
We have all age ranges of children from Kindergarten through High School students.
WHEN DO WE MEET?
Wednesday evenings, from 6:45 - 7:45 at Third Church.
Our tutoring season runs for 10 weeks in the Fall (September 19 - November 14), and again for 10 weeks in the Spring.
