Prepare for Worship: Easter Sunday
He is Risen!
Join us this Easter Sunday as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with TWO services at 9:00 AM and TWO services at 11:15. We'll have Convergent worship (band + choir and organ) in the Sanctuary, and Roots/Contemporary worship in the Fellowship Hall at each hour.
Check out the THIS SUNDAY page for maps of the building and location of parking lots around Third's campus, and note that parking is also available behind Tuckahoe Elementary, across Forest Avenue from our Fellowship Hall. Look for our Third Hospitality Team members who will be happy to help direct you to open lots and get you to the service.
Also, don't forget there will be refreshments and fellowship between the services from 10:15-11:05 in the courtyard next to the Sanctuary.
About the Services
Corey Widmer's Easter Sermon, "Seven: From Death to Life" is the culmination of a Lent Series on the Seven Deadly Sins. Over the course of our journey through the Seven, we have explored the numerous ways sin has a death grip on our lives. In fact, the Bible suggests that we are in bondage to death — both physical death as our bodies age and decline, but also spiritual death as our sin increasingly separates us from God, from each other, and even from ourselves. But the good news--the astounding news--of Easter is that God has thrown our death spiral into reverse through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
