CANCELED: Due to a family emergency, our speaker is not able to be with us this weekend. We are planning to reschedule for November and will keep you updated when we know more. Please keep our speaker Tharwat and his family in prayer.
As we seek to come alongside the Christian Arabic Church more closely, this conference is the perfect opportunity to learn more about what our CAC friends and their families have experienced—persecution, Muslim extremism, a refugee crisis, prejudice, and much more.
This series will help us be better neighbors to our CAC brothers and sisters, so we can stand with them in our knowledge, prayers, and advocacy. Tharwat Wahba, Professor and Chair of the Missions Department at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, will be with us to share about the state of the church in Egypt, exploring questions like: Is there a hope for the Middle East? Can the church survive? How could the Egyptian church grow during the last 5 years despite these troubles? What role can the global church play? How can the church in the US participate? And what is the call of the church in the 21st century?
These questions are important for every believer, near and far. We hope you join us for these special evenings with Tharwat, Third, and the Christian Arabic Church.
