Each year Third marks the beginning of Advent with a special service of Lessons and Carols. We invite you to take one hour to listen to scripture that speaks of God’s power at work in the world, sing the story of Jesus, and prepare your heart to welcome our Savior. You will not only listen to the story, but actively participate in it.

Lessons and Carols tells God’s beautiful story of creation, fall, redemption, and re-creation through the reading of Scripture and the singing of both traditional and modern carols. We use a variety of instruments and musical styles to place the focus of the season on the beautiful mystery of Jesus’ first coming, as an infant, and to anticipate the day He will come again.

This year we have one service, live at 7pm in our Sanctuary, and will also livestream and have overflow in the Fellowship Hall.

*Children are welcome to attend this service with their parents! But please keep in mind that while this service does have elements of group participation, there is also time for sitting and being still as we hear the scriptures read. We will not have any nursery care.

COVID PRECAUTIONS: The Choir will be masked and we will have limited musicians on stage.

The Lord is coming, always coming. When you have ears to hear and eyes to see, you will recognize him at any moment of your life. Life is Advent; life is recognizing the coming of the Lord.
