Virtual and In-Person Immigrant and Refugee Homework Tutoring

Our tutoring program has never been more important! Join us.

To help support our immigrant and refugee neighbors, we are continuing our tutoring program this fall. This program meets a critical community need as students go back to school virtually - and serves to support this particularly vulnerable population. Many of these students don’t have English speaking parents, compounding the difficulty for them. No experience is necessary so please consider serving!

HOW WILL TUTORS AND STUDENTS MEET?

We are tutoring both virtually via Zoom and with limited, socially distanced and masked in-person times. You can schedule with your tutor at your convenience via ZOOM, or sign up for an in-person slot.

You must sign a waiver to participate in in-person tutoring! Fill out the waiver here.

WHEN WILL TUTORING HAPPEN?

We will be fully virtual and you can schedule with your tutor at your convenience.

WHO DOES THIS PROGRAM SERVE?

This tutoring program is in its 15th year and we have 100+ students from many different backgrounds and nationalities. Some are involved with the Christian Arabic Church, but many are local immigrants and refugees, maybe new to the area!

We serve all age ranges of children from Kindergarten through High School students.
