Once again, Third Church will be traveling to Israel. we will have an amazing opportunity to be traveling throughout Israel. This will be Third’s, 4th discipleship trip to Israel having visited Israel in 2013, 2014, and 2016.
Traveling to Israel is an amazing experience. The Bible will come alive and your heart will pound with excitement and thanksgiving with every step you take. You’ll also quickly learn and understand many of the geographic and cultural references of Jesus, the apostles, and the old testament. You’ll also enjoy the beauty of the land, Israel’s wonderful food, and her open and safe hospitality every step of the way.

This will be my 4th trip leading our congregation and friends to Israel. You’ll be treated to a team approach. The trip will be led by Paul Klassen, Guy Leibovitz, and me. While in Israel, we will also visit a long-time friend of Third, Rabbi Jamie Cowen. The price for the trip includes all transportation, 9 nights of first class hotels, breakfast, dinner, admission to all sites, and tips. This is well worth the investment for a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Paul lives in Richmond and was on the staff at Tikvat Israel (along with Rabbi Jamie Cowen.) Paul has lived in Israel and has led more than 22 trips to Israel. Paul is a messianic Jew and is steeped in a rich understanding of Scripture. He is the Executive Director for “The Hope For Israel” and is also the owner of Aliyah tours, the tour company we will be using.
Guy Leibovitz is a native of Israel and is a sought after guide. He was professionally trained as an archeologist and is also a historian. Guy has a rich understanding of Scripture. He is a wonderful communicator and extremely personable.
