CARITAS - October 10-16, 2015
We are hosting homeless families for the week of October 10-16, providing lodging and meals for 7 nights. We are looking for small groups and volunteers to help us serve these families. Here’s how you can serve:
1. Prepare and serve a meal
Details: 1-2 volunteers to plan menu; 10 volunteers to help prepare and serve the meal. Needed each night (7 total) from Saturday, Oct. 10 through Friday, Oct. 16.
2. Laundry
Details: 3-4 volunteers needed each day to take clothes home after dinner to clean and return by 5 pm the next day. Needed each night from Saturday, Oct. 10 through Thursday, Oct. 15
3. Stay overnight
Details: 2 male volunteers needed each night from Saturday, Oct. 10 through Thursday, Oct. 15 to stay with the families overnight in the Fellowship Hall
4. Set up
Details: 6 volunteers needed on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 9:00 am to unload and set up bedding for the families in the Basement for the families
5. Clean Up
Details: 6 volunteers needed to break down and clean up all beds and facilities in the Basement on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 8:00 am
