Describe your primary responsibilities at Third: My job at Third is to coordinate for the provision of excellent childcare and nursery programming during services at Third. This work includes the hiring, training and supervising of paid nursery workers and recruiting our covenant partners to join with us as volunteers both in childcare ministry. Encouraging our congregation to build relationships with the families of young children so that they may all know and feel God's amazing love and grace is a top priority!

What are your favorite books? Not to sound too 'spiritual" but my favorite book is definitely the Bible. If I'm not reading that I'm usually enjoying a Tim Keller book or podcast.

What is your favorite thing about Richmond? My home is in the Fan and I love being in that part of Richmond where reaching out to neighbors is an everyday part of life. And of course, the awesome restaurants here are a bonus!

Tell us about your family and what you like to do for fun: I have two sons, Jonathan and Benjamin. Jon lives out in Longmont Colorado and works in agricultural biotech. Visiting him on his farm is one of my very favorite things to do. Ben lives in Bluffton SC with his wife Katie and my three incredible grandchildren, Talia, Ben and Henry. They bring so much joy to my life! Being a grandmother feels like the best thing ever.

Why are you excited to be a part of Third Church? I am thrilled to have become a part of Third Church! I have found it to be a place where I see and feel the desire to "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength" and to "love thy neighbor as thyself".
