The Lord's Supper

Dear Third Family, 

This Sunday we'll gather together to celebrate the Lord's Supper, one of the most powerful things we do together as a community. We'll also be looking at the Lord's Supper in the sermon, continuing our "Shape of Worship" summer series. Let's pray that God uses our time together to renew not only our understanding of this sacrament, but also to renew our relationship with Him and with one another. Also, just a reminder that in the month of August we will not have our normal Sunday school schedule. The Good News Adult Discipleship class will continue to meet at the 10 o'clock hour, and the nursery for kindergarten and younger will continue to take place during all three services. All other classes for adults, students, and children will take a "sabbath break" for the month of August and normal Sunday school will kick off  again in September. P.S. Note that on the first Sunday of the month when we celebrate the Lord's Supper in all services, we will not have the 8 a.m. Morning Prayer and Communion service.
