2016 Holy Week at Third Church
We hope you join us for any of the services, opportunities, and reflections offered the week leading up to our celebration of Christ's Resurrection.
Maundy Thursday:
Thursday, March 24, 7:00 pm
Join us for this special worship service in the style of Tenebrae, with gradual extinguishing of candles, accompanied by music, readings, and the sacrament of Communion. Childcare provided for kindergarten and younger.
Good Friday:
Friday, March 25, 12:00 pm
A brief worship service in the Sanctuary followed by a Lenten lunch ($5) in the Fellowship Hall. Childcare available for kindergarten and younger during the worship service (12:00 - 12:30 p.m.).
Journey to the Cross:
Friday, March 25, 1:00 - 8:00 p.m.
A personal experience of Jesus’ final hours. A multi-sensory journey where you will be guided by scripture and artistic presentations to the cross. For more information, click here.
Resurrection Day: Easter Sunday, March 27
Services: 8:00, 9:15, 10:30, & 11:45 a.m.
Sunday School: 10:30 a.m.
Celebrate the risen King in the Sanctuary! Bring bells from home to ring with joy every time we sing or say, "Alleluia!" We will also have some bells on site for you to use.
Children and youth Sunday School will continue as scheduled at 10:30 a.m.
The following adult Sunday school classes will meet on Easter Sunday (all other classes cancelled): Good News, and Grace & Addiction.
