Mark Sprinkle | From Sloth to Stewardship

The sin of Sloth is dangerous because it's so exceptionally subtle: spiritual apathy encourages us to hunger and thirst after the wrong things, and be satisfied with staying right where we are.  Yet it is the power of Jesus at work within us that moves us from being slothful to being the new creation we are in him.

This video testimony is told as part of “Seven | Finding Freedom from the Darkness Within,” a Lenten sermon series on Pride, Envy, Anger, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony and Lust, known for nearly 1500 year as “the Seven Deadly Sins.”  For the sermon, scripture, and other context for this story, please click HERE.
