Dave Parker | From Death to Life

While the power of sin over human lives is great, it is no match for the power of transformation and renewal we have in Christ, through the Holy Spirit.  Those who turn to Jesus are saved not just in eternity, but in the present.  This video testimony is told as part of the conclusion to “Seven | Finding Freedom from the Darkness Within,” a Lenten sermon series on Pride, Envy, Anger, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony and Lust, known for nearly 1500 year as “the Seven Deadly Sins.”  On Easter morning we rejoice that Christ's victory over death is also our victory over sin, for through the Spirit we have power to live in Christ.  For the sermon, scripture, and other context for this story, please click HERE.
