SUNDAY CLASSES

THE GOSPEL OF MARK
Sundays, 9:00 a.m. - Zoom link (PW: 478901)
Led by: David Carroll and David Skove

Join us for expository Bible teaching of the Gospel of Mark in the tradition of “Inductive Bible Study.” Our teachers ask the three classic questions of each text: (i) what does it say; (ii) what did it mean to them (the original audience); and (iii) what does it mean to us? This class is centered on understanding and applying God’s Word for his glory and our growth as his people.

RENEWAL OF THE HEART: ABIDING IN CHRIST THROUGH SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES
Sundays, 11:30 a.m. - Zoom link (PW: 186830)
Led by: Brad Houff and Mary Damon

As Christians we know that in Christ, God is making all things new — and that includes me and you! We are new creations, and our lives are hidden with Christ in God. The new has come. The old has gone. But if this season has taught us anything, it has taught us that changing our outward behaviors will not magically change our hearts. We need transformation. We need renewal.

This six week class will include teaching on the biblical foundations for a number of distinct spiritual disciplines, time to experiment with new practices in a safe community of friends, opportunities to debrief in small groups, and testimonies of people whose have experienced soul transformation through Spiritual Disciplines.

THE MISSION OF GOD’S PEOPLE
Sundays, 9:00 a.m. - Zoom link (PW: 339534)
Led by: LJ Jaworski

What does the Bible have to tell us about why the people of God exist and what it is they are supposed to be and do the world? What is the mission of God’s people? Join us for this missions Sunday school class, studying Chris Wright’s book, The Mission of God’s People. Together we will discover God’s big-picture plan to direct the purpose of God’s people, the church.

Chris Wright serves as the International Director of the Langham Partnership International. He is a renowned scholar and hopefully will be our speaker at Third’s Mission Weekend April 16-18 (depending on the situation with the pandemic).. Buy your book ahead of time!

WEEKNIGHT CLASSES

THE MAKING OF A CHRISTIAN LEADER
Thursdays, 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. - Zoom link (PW: 232863)
Led by: Derek Mondeau and Jenny Benson

We often assume that “good” leaders are born that way - that they naturally possess certain gifts and skills that the rest of us do not. But leaders are not just “born with it.” God develops a leader over a lifetime. Whether you are transitioning into retirement or seeing yourself as a leader for the first time, come explore what Jesus is doing in you and through you during this season of your leadership journey.
