Describe your primary responsibilities at Third: I oversee and manage all aspects of our Club 56 ministry (grades 5-6) and I also work in cooperation with Rick Hutton to guide all students (grades 7-12) toward a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. I help shepherd and oversee student ministry volunteers, student leaders, and students involved in the ministry and I seek to creatively implement vision in a way that is relevant for the student population in order to engage, enfold and equip students and parents.

What are your favorite books? The Harry Potter series, The Nightingale, The Boys in the Boat, any historical fiction, and anything by C.S. Lewis.

What is your favorite thing about Richmond? So many things - but mostly all the local restaurants!

Tell us about your family and what you like to do for fun: My husband, Ian and I love spending time with our daughter, Hannah. She brings us new joys each day! We love to take family walks, explore, travel, and experience new things together.

Why are you excited to be a part of Third Church? I have been a part of the Third family for 40+ years and it has always remained just that – family. Third has been through many changes (leadership, renovations, denominations) but the community has always remained tight-knit and the authority of Scripture has always guided us through every change. I feel fortunate to have grown up here and I’m excited to now raise our daughter here.
