Dear Third Family,

It has been a blessing to worship together with you this summer as we focus on Christian worship in our "Shape of Worship" series. This week we're focusing on God's Word read and proclaimed through scripture and preaching. We'll be looking at Psalm 119:9-16, 2 Timothy 3:14-17, and Hebrews 4:12-13 and how God speaks through this and that his word is Truth and always requires obedience to it. Reading scripture and hearing a great sermon is not just something we do by ourselves, we need each other, and as we hear God speak we can encourage one another to greater obedience. Here are some preparation notes for Sunday.
